It was a day of dirt, discovery, and delight as our Junior Green Thumbs set out on a Soil Safari in September. With curious minds and hands ready to dig in, we embarked on an exciting journey to unravel the secrets hidden beneath our feet.
Becoming Soil Scientists for a Day! π±
Our young gardeners transformed into soil scientists, armed with pH meters and testing kits. They delved into the world of soil nutrients, exploring the levels of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and more in various soil types. It was a hands-on lesson that made science come alive, right in the heart of our garden.
Soil Safari Theme: Digging into Dirt π¦
Under the theme “Soil Safari – Digging into Dirt,” our kids roamed the garden, unearthing treasures of knowledge at every turn. They discovered that soil is more than just dirt; it’s a complex ecosystem teeming with life and nutrients.
